Tiny Tuesday - Something Alive

I searched and searched the whole rooftop garden for something live and could only find evidence of them - cobwebs etc.

I finally landed on my solar powered grasshopper who used to walk around this big bowl he lives in whenever the sun was shining, he had two friends as well.

Eventually the two friends got stolen, they were red beetles, probably taken by some hungry bird but this one stayed behind and battled on for months.

Now he’s quiet, the solar power isnt working for him anymore and he just sits there waiting and waiting. Maybe a bird will eventually take him for a whirl to see the world outside of the bowl ; )

In extras is a leaf covered in either lerps, perps or mealy bugs, although they are alive they dont look good!!
