The Monkey

Here is a picture of one of the happiest boys I've seen for a long time.

And his son Andy!

When the boys came to stay, the other night, Euphemia asked them all what they wanted for Christmas.

After his brothers described several improbable ideas, Andy said he really, really wanted a monkey onesie.

After Euphemia had stopped choking she said how nice it would be if some wonderful person gave him that singular thing.

That thing being the very present she had bought for him!
