Lunch at the Beach

My husband and I traveled this morning by flying to Providence, RI and then driving the rest of the way to Cape Cod.  It's a familiar trip and really not so bad - about 5 hours door to door.  The sun was out when we arrived, and given the prediction of more rain, we wanted to get outside.  I grabbed my camera and we drove to a beach, hoping to find shorebird activity.  We saw an egret, numerous terns and a handful of sandpipers.  Most of them were too far away, so I settled for this hungry seagull.
