Sandpipers

I think that's what these are. 
K was at work and so I went on a bus-adventure. I finally ended up at Ocean Beach and walked along for several kilometres enjoying the ocean and the birds. 
I returned in time to meet K in a (local to K) bar before treating ourselves to dinner in a fancy French place.
