From the Pans to the Gauldrons (Machrihanish)

12C (car thermometer said 16C) bright with sunny spells. Light to moderate W/WNW breeze.

After lunch Fergus and I got into my little car and went for a drive. I had intended to go round to the Doirlinn then go for a walk but the car only just started (note to self - use more often !) so I decided to do a few miles. We went through to Machrihanish and parked at the Pans. We walked along past the houses and out to the seabird observatory then went along the shore to the gauldrons then headed back to the car. On the way back I thought maybe some more miles so we took the road to Southend and went down there before driving home. Hopefully that has charged the battery a bit.
