View from the bridge

Swim, Tuesdays are as good as Thursdays then to the Castle for some research. There was a delay getting in as the Band was playing before it marched off down the hill to the Assembly. Having spent the last 7 years at the bottom of the Mile I had no idea how many 'free tour' companies there are loitering outside the City Chambers. And the stands have made considerable progress

Home for lunch then off to the College via a domain in Craigmillar. As ever a fantastic view down the coast and across to Fife from the Bridge.

The promise of the sunny afternoon failed in the heavy evening rain. I had an early night with Charles Paris. Watching Alisdair Campbell was too depressing.
