Sgwarnog: In the Field

My second London visit in four days, this time for work.

The event was at King's College down on the Strand, and I had a couple of hours before my train home so I wandered along Victoria Embankment and then up through Whitehall to St James's Park where I pottered about watching the birds and a few butterflies (Orange-tip, Small White and Brimstone, all pictured).

I was a little surprised to find the parakeets were habituated enough to feed from peoples hands, but then so was pretty much everything. The pelicans were being fairly quiet on their island, but at least I got to see them.
