Hello neighbours!

Great morning out at the opening of the Col du Petit-Saint-Bernard. The final metres of snow are cleared by ploughs from both the French and Italian sides, and the drivers meet and shake hands as the border is finally open again after the winter. There was a band, speeches, lots of people waiting to cross the border and lots of spectators. And a lot of snow thrown over everyone. We then had a pizza lunch, a big snowy walk and gelato in the sunshine before heading back home. What a great day!
