La Cave à Jazz

Night out at the Cave à Jazz in Conilhac; we went with four friends from S's walking group and it was as convivial as usual. The organisers had crammed in as many as they could at large square tables seating 12; those of us by the wall were trapped there for the duration. By a strange coincidence, also at our table was A from choir with her husband J; she lives a very long way away so I didn't expect to see her. She said they come regularly so it's even more surprising that we've never bumped into each other here.

The musicians were some of the usual suspects, this time in a band called Carré d'As: trumpeter Dominique Rieux, ubiquitous saxophonist Jean-Michel Cabrol, and keyboard ace Thierry Ollé. Great fun as usual, home after midnight.
