........ on a hot tin roof! Just a duck on a house roof!

A lot of heavy showers this morning ..... it was beginning to look as if we wouldn't manage a walk today either!

However .... mid afternoon we noticed a patch or two of blue sky & mainly white (not black) clouds ........ so off we went!

We decided to just have a short walk to Pioneer & Beech Wood .... that way we wouldn't be too far from home if the skies 'opened' again!

Not much about ...... though we did see 2 hares on the far side of the field ...... too far away to get a decent photo unfortunately.

The grey clouds started to roll in again & we could see rain heading our way ..... so we turned for home.

As we were heading back along the road we spotted this duck sitting on the house roof ....... blip sorted ..... I do think they look funny like that ..... not at all where you expect to see them! :-)

Perfect timing ..... the rain was just starting as we reached the house! Good thing we came back when we did as it absolutely poured down!
