Christmas bake off with head chef Kai! Almond and raspberry cakes for our visitors today. I'm feeling under the weather with a chest infection but Kai got wonderful toys to keep him entertained and I am being well looked after.

I overheard Kai telling the Christmas story to his teddy this morning...

There was a star baby. And it was dark. And there was rain and lightning so they went into a stable. And they were comfy and warm. And some men brought presents for the baby. A toy police car for the baby and a necklace for his mummy. And the angel went home.

I think I need to get better at story telling!
