One of my favourite things

This was not a Christmas present. A few days before Christmas Mrs GOG and I visited Scotsdales Garden Centre and I said I liked this orchid, so she bought it for me. It might very well have been a Christmas present, but no one else could choose it for me as they would not have known which one I liked.

This is the first time that I have used this particular lens at its widest angle with a subject that shows up the very distinct barrel distortion. I will try to avoid this distortion be using a different lens next time, however I did not think that the frame spoiled the subject or I could have cropped the frame out.
