Christmas Family Photo

It seems that along with many other children, ours slept in this morning. W woke at 07.20, found his stocking which he raced to show Daddy and then sat happily listening to a story until his big sister crashed into the room at 07.40. Both Children were happy with their stockings which contained dressing gowns, slippers, gloves, tooth brushes, ear muffs/Thomas shirt, a couple of books each and a Disney DVD (Bambi and The Aristocrats), plus some chocolate coins and the obligatory satsuma.

W was completely unaware that there would be presents under the tree, so off we went to Church with no hassle. On our arrival back we waited for N&P before we headed into the living room. William squealed and jumped up and down when he realised there were more presents under the tree. N & P watched the kids open their presents and then they headed off to J's in Ascot for the rest of the day. So for the first time we had the rest of the day just to ourselves. Now no disrespect, but it was lovely.

We played games, we ate when we wanted and W took as long as he wanted. The kids played with their toys uninterrupted and the watch Room on a Broom and went to bed. Mummy did better this year at taking photos through out the day. All in all it was a lovely day. All over with far too quickly.
