Friends

Here are our neighbours Ferran (far end), Merce (centre) and their nearly-18 year old son Bru, joined by our Scottish 'man of confidence' Alistair (nearest to camera), round for our tradional post-Christmas Day get together with the usual crackers and presents!

We been living side by side for 15 years, and couldn't have asked for more welcoming friends to have next door, in times of little 'crises' like getting locked out, or sharing the grief of losing parents through the years.

The cava flowed and the sun set and the sausage rolls went in the oven, and midnight came and we talked still on about everything under the moon!

On the technical front a new iPod has been the only solution to our music replaying challenges but the new device is now synchronising as I type, and DD has made me promise not to touch it until she is out the shower and here to make sure I don't delete her entire iTunes library. Man of confidence? With me, she knows the limits!
