Lily pond

There are actually 5 water lilies out, but one is hiding behind a lily pad (as are the pond frogs) The pond is on the verge of overflowing after this morning's thunder and rain storms, and more are on the way tonight, so we will see what it will look like tomorrow. There was a horrible accident in the neighbouring village this morning, a group of youngsters in training to go into the army exercising on the heath was struck by lightning, 14 wounded, 1 really serious. Of course thunder and rain has always been common in a Dutch summer, but the weather is just so extreme nowadays :-(
