Goundhog hour

Today was changeover day.
We exchanged one lot of grandparents for the other (I guess I should be thankful that in these days of 'patchwork' families we have only 2 sets of grandparents!)
This happens most Christmases, 1 set come for Dec 25 & the other for Dec 31, altho usually there's more than a couple of hours between departure and arrival...
The tricky thing wasn't the to-ing and fro-ing from the airport (whenever we're asked whether we object to the noise of the planes flying overhead we say no, the positives far outweigh the negatives - Mr K flies a lot) but the changing of bedding and racing around like a loon trying to make everything clean and respectable for the new guests.
