Knockhill SMRC

For my birthday back in March, Rachel got me a season ticket for Knockhill. Today was the first time I’ve had the chance to use it. Just a round of the Scottish Motor Racing Championship, or Mad Farmers as I prefer to call it ;)

I’ve seen the likes of Gordon Shedden and Colin Turkington (both major British Touring Car stars) come up through the ranks here in the past so the racing is always entertaining. 

It was nice to be back. Parenthood has seen my motorsport habits take a back seat; I'd forgotten quite how much I loved the smell of hot dogs and engine oil. Doubly nice, then, that my wife and my daughter ( now 14 ) was up for coming along and really enjoyed it :)
