Turkish Style Shipbuilding

Besiktas Yard is not only a repair and maintenance yard, it is also a shipbuilding yard. Not on a real big scale, but it is a relative new yard and you have to make a start somewhere. Just when I was down in the dock to make some pictures of our new paintwork, the big crane picked up a complete bow section and put it in it's place. It is always a miracle to me if it fits in one time. A young yard or not, it fitted perfectly.
