Reunion

A couple friends from the first half of my time in Japan came back to Nagoya this week. They moved to America after getting married a couple years ago, and this was the first time seeing them since they moved away. It was great to catch up over some drinks and good Nagoya food (Yama-chan's for the win), and I was happy to see them doing well.

It also made me realize how long I've been here. I didn't really start hanging out with them until my second year here, and they moved away almost two years ago. And I've been working for the same company this whole time (which is extra strange with this company). I am a Japan veteran now, and that continues to feel weird to me.
