Busyness

Whilst hanging out the washing in the polytunnel I was distracted by some furious activity in the poppies. This little bee was hard at it, going into the poppies, squirming onto his side and rotating around the inside picking up all the pollen. Also making quite a racket. There was stiff competition too and he had to show off several other interested parties. My polytunnel is a disgrace this year  - blighted by blackfly it has somewhat gone to seed but the poppies and tomatoes are holding their own. As is the fumitory - see extra ( I think I prefer this pic!)

And Veronica has made it home safe and sound, well done Cork Airport.
