Mount Bruce

So today we woke up early and the three of us plus the 2 mutts walked up a mountain on the back of the property. It took a couple of hours and was extremely hot despite setting off before the midday heat! We were walking for a few hours through thick bushland and open planes. Avoiding the cows, ticks and snakes was a must. We had a great time and only one injury. Thankfully it was minor and involved the youngest member of our party... Lilly, the 7 month old labrador fell down a crevasse and sprained her leg. With 3 vets to look after her, she was soon running back down the mountain, all be it on 3 legs! Plenty of TLC this evening
