Busy harbour
It was all go at Newhaven Harbour this morning. First I heard the pipes from where I was sitting in the soon-to-vanish sunshine with my coffee and knew a cruise ship was somewhere offshore (never saw the cruise ship). By the time I pottered over to buy some massive prawns (thank you, Welch’s) there were coaches, yellow vests, tourists ... through which I breenged like a local.
So the photo shows the very low tide in the harbour, a fishing boat beached on the jetty, a man scrubbing the hull of his smaller boat, and a tender from the Norwegian cruise ship negotiating the entrance to the harbour.
All go, really ...
