On the Tiles!

Had a look around our wrecked city late this evening, and there are even more empty spaces now than a month ago when I had a look around. We were filling in time as we did not want to go to Hagley Park to early in the evening for the New Year Celebrations.
I was photographing water running down the tiles at the Christchurch City Council building, and when I looked into the viewfinder - to my surprise I saw this eel.
We arrived at the Park about 10.30pm. listened to the music, and then saw the fireworks on midnight. First time in all my life that I have been to a public New Years Eve! It was a fine evenng.
