An ordinary life....

Does my bum look big in this?

Lola just back from her gentle afternoon stroll.  She's definitely not impressed by that vest!  :-))

She was back at the vets this morning for her first post op check.

David took her, and to my surprise he reported that she trotted confidently into the waiting room (she's usually quite anxious and needs lot of treats to ensure her cooperation) and happily followed Adele into the consulting room.  Clearly her experience on Tuesday hasn't put her off the place, the opposite in fact.  They've definitely worked their magic on her.  Phew!

When she returned she scoffed her lunch then after a little siesta, she headed out with D on her second ten minute pavement walk of the day.

In the meantime I worked on the creation of more flower templates.  Hopefully by the end of tomorrow I will have one of each template copied onto smooth and textured watercolour paper, then on Monday (Ele and Kenny here on Sunday) I can begin painting.  I am interested in finding out which paper I prefer.

Alan met a support worker called Bobbi this morning.  Bobbi is one of the agency support workers who will cover sickness and holidays when our own team members are off, and she replaces Sarah who has now qualified as a nurse so won't be able to work as a support worker any more.  I am hoping she will keep in touch though as Alan adores her.  Bobbi was a huge hit with Alan and we're all looking forward to seeing her again on Sunday when she's doing her first shadow shift with Ashleigh.

We received other good news today in connection with Alan's support team.  As the result of a chance comment when she was here on Sunday, Kirsten has emailed to say she would be more than happy to return to working with Alan and has given us a note of her availability (it's good :-) so once the necessary checks are done and her training is updated, we will be welcoming her back as part of Alan's team.  Woo hoo!

We won't tell Alan till nearer the time as he will be hyper! :-)))
