Books...

...piled high on the kitchen table.

A full-on day! Dresser delivery day! Had hoped that the living room renovations would be complete by now, but there's still a way to go - lots of little bits and pieces to finish off, a shelf unit to build and paint, and the fireplace to sort out before a wood burner is installed. They'll have to wait for a bit, as MrM is working flat out making instruments, and I need to concentrate on producing a flyer to take to the first big craft fair in less than a fortnight. Aaaargh!

But this morning, I finished off a few things in the living room and cleared space ready for the dresser. Then removed all the books from the bookcase in the hall, where it's it's been for the last 6 months, before MrM and I carried it in to the living room, as it would be much more difficult with the dresser in place.

The dresser arrived on time, delivered by two very helpful, professional guys who had driven up from Bradford. They carried it up the stairs to the flat, unpacked it, assembled it, put it in to the allotted space, and took away the packaging material. What service! And it looks great - no doubt you will get to see it one day, but not until the shelves are in place with a few interesting things on them!
