Big Bugs!!

First time spotting one of these.. haha!!

We did some food shopping over on Canvey Island this morning and managed to stop off for the first time at the Canvey Wick nature reserve  - the only brownfield bug reserve in the UK! - and  a great little spot although slightly too warm to do much spotting today but hope to get back over there another time to see what kind of wildlife hangs out there! hope they're not all as big as the one that greeted us in the car park!!

Weather is still hot and humid here despite a storm overnight - looking forward to the forecast cooler temps tomorrow!
