Great Moor of Rannoch (just opposite Asda)

Reclaimed land at Western Harbour in Leith is the site of a proposed "urban village" where happy families will live in chic waterside apartments and bicycle to the local craft bakery.

This site which like a lot in north Edinburgh appears to be currently mothballed, is part Serengeti, part swamp and part post-industrial wasteland.

Countless crates of paving blocks lying rotting was reminiscent of the Denkmal für die ermordeten Juden Europas in Berlin but I struggled to make a picture of it.

Instead a bit of Sunshine on Leith #ggtth
