A beach at the end of the long car journey

Great to have these young ones on the beach here this afternoon. They and their parents had a very smooth drive up from Gloucestershire. The weather forecast suggests that today was going to be the best one of the week ahead so we made the most of the beach this afternoon.

This morning I had a meeting in Fringe Central and was also able to make my debut on the Fringe itself, briefly - very briefly!  I still maintain that Edinburgh is not as busy this year as in previous ones. Maybe I am looking in the wrong places. It will be interesting to hear the final attendance figures in due course.
