The Comet

This is the flywheel from The old paddle steamer PS Comet it began a passenger service on 15th August 1812 on the River Clyde between Glasgow and Greenock, the first commercially successful steamboat service in Europe.
I thought it made an interesting cropped view of the town of Greenock in the backround ,the clouds here in Helensburgh are just superb really heavy with the sun desperate to break through and just a wee bonus the man walking through at the right moment as 2 seconds late torrential rain.
