Red Squirrel

Resilient.

ENLARGED.

On July 31st last year (so odd to think of 2012 as last year!), I blipped a beautifully marked Leopard slug on an even more stunning area of tree trunk in the grounds of County Hall. Today I visited the same felled tree trunk looking for fungi. I did find some lovely large clusters of Jew's Ears. But I was rather taken by the fact that despite the passage of time, the very wet weather and at times horrendous winds we've had in the intervening period, the wood is still showing some very striking patterning - it really must be pretty resilient. So I decided to blip that - I can go back for the Jew's Ears tomorrow ....
