Reflections of War

I paid another visit to Hazeley Heath on the way home - this time with the firm intent of getting some images for Ingeborg's Abstract Thursday Challenge  and  Marlieske's Derelict Sunday Challenge.

In my wanderings on Tuesday, I had come across a concrete structure with concrete a ramp built down a steep hillside, and a dump of what looked like caterpillar tracks. A local dog walker said it was the remains of a WWII tank testing facility - an internet search indicates it may be earlier, dating from WW1.

Either way, a shot of the rusting caterpillar tracks would surely meet the derelict challenge, while taking it "close up" would cover the abstract one - with a dubiuos title to represent this week's optional abstract theme of "reflections"!
