What a great day yesterday was. We went over to lunch at son no. 2s place, watched England win the cricket in quite an astonishing way, M and son went off to watch football and l just relaxed in great heat.
On the way back to ours l got stuck a traffic jam, it was not your average traffic jam - a Hindu festival was being held which involved dragging this huge carriage around the local streets to and from a temple. This carriage was being pulled with huge ropes by Hindi men who were also directing traffic and there appeared to be cars in all directions with ladies in beautiful saris watching and adding their voices. All was good humour though, despite the temperature being up in the mid 30s.
