heave-ho!!

Well, it was quite a job both digging the hole for this tall Olive Tree and getting the plastic container it was growing in untangled from the roots and off, but Grant & Michael did it!! Ann Hall was there too and I must say, for a garden designer she really gets into her work!!! : ) She is really so good. After they dug the hole and removed the plastic container as best they could, the three of them hoisted the tree into place - heave HO!! Now it stands majestically in our new garden patio area by the river.

I am going to quote Ann in a comment from an earlier blip . . .
"It is a joyous occasion! When I first saw the tree, it just spoke to me! And it is true that such a mature tree gives a sense of permanancy to the landscape. But boy was that a heavy sucker to uncrate and get in the really big planting hole-we laughed about the hole to China we heard about as children!"
