Lunch with Dave

I called into the library this morning to ask them to put a plastic jacket on the Thomas Cromwell biography. It's a penguin paperback and will damage very easily as I lug it around. I thought ( wrong ) the librarian would just stick a jacket on it : No. She has to send it off then re-request it to me and let me know when its returned !. Drat !  She clearly thought I'd removed it !.

Dave and I met in Norwich's splendid veg cafe above Rainbow ( whole food shop ) and had a delicious cauliflower chowder. It's good to see it really busy. I must eat their food more often.
