The Pembrokeshire cobra

No not corgi, cobra - that's right, the venomous hooded snake of India and South Africa.
It seems that this muddy sunken lane between two farms is rife with them, to the extent that the casual walker, conscientiously following the public right of way, is confronted with this vivid precautionary notice.

"Oh dear, I think we'd better turn back, I don't like the look of that..."

(I'd hate to think that our local farmers would indulge in any deception to discourage innocent ramblers. I'm sure we should take these notices very seriously. In fact, listen carefully and through the falling rain you might hear a snatch of this.)
