More on the Levels (and Moors)

Early morning mist gave way to another grey day, but perfect for another bike ride on the Levels this morning. I've blipped this pond at Sharpham before but in much bluer weather

For those of you who commented on the amount of water around in yesterday's blip, this link gives more detail of the Levels' long history of being underwater. It reminded me that one of these days I must get out and blip the ancient wooden causeway, known locally as the Sweet Track after the peat worker who discovered it, remnants of which can still be seen.

Dry enough for a bit of tidying up in the garden this afternoon.
