Galette des Rois

Cake of Kings (Epiphany cake), with the crown ready to be worn by the lucky person who has the piece of cake with the charm in it.
The youngest child in the family hides underneath the table and calls out the name of the next person to be served with a portion of cake. Whoever has the lucky charm can be King for the day! Originally, I understand, a bean was used as a charm but due to inflation and being unable to find a small pot figurine, a £1 coin was wrapped in foil. Great excitement and a delicious cake too.
