St Mary on The Rock

Had a lovely walk around St Andrews today, it is one of my favourite places in Scotland, so much history between The Castle, The Cathedral & The University also not forgetting the golf course!!!
Came across i]St Mary on The Rock ]for the first time today, it was an early mediaeval church and is thought to be the original location of the relics of St Andrew and dates back to the 12th century.
