Friday 6 March 2009: Friday morning

First sun on discarded dried up leaves of an unknown plant.

By the look of it, these leaves could have been fleshy once, lance shaped and has a slight spiny margin.
I do not think it is aloe, as their spikes are usually more pronounced.

These lovely remnants were provided by my friend Lesley who has a very keen eye for beautiful objects.
