The Maine trip

Today we headed to Portland, it was a later start than wanted as the weekend had taken it out of us but when we got there it was nice. Portland is a cool place with a mix of newer buildings and old with cobbled streets hiding away. We went for flatbreads for lunch and met up with close friends Peter and Jill. We sat eating and putting the world to rites whilst enjoying the views and warm weather. The time came to head back but not before we ticked a couple of firsts off for Ben, a trip through a car wash and a trip to Target. After that we headed back to the house, stopping to pick up a chair, and for a game of five crowns. It was burgers and salad for dinner before calling it a night once again.
