Buck House

Rachael took Barbara, Emma and I on a guided tour of Buckingham Palace State Rooms, we met Wendy and Simo there too who had just got back from Edinburgh.

It’s only the second time I’ve been there, our guide was fantastic, she pointed out the Queens residence within the quadrangle inside the palace walls. The state rooms are magnificent as you would expect, we weren’t allowed to take any photographs in them though. Our guide was really good and brought everything to life for us, our tickets are valid for the next year and a half so we can go back any time, there was a wonderful exhibition about Victoria there including some of her clothes.

After the tour we were given a glass of delicious champagne and we went out on the terrace which overlooks the garden, then it was in buggies to the front of the palace where we walked through one of the side arches, the middle arch is for the Queen only!

Then it was off to Carnaby Street for a delicious Italian and a cab home.

During the day it was raining like hell, I spent several hours going over backing vocals for an upcoming gig and also walked to Hampton Hill to get a missing part for Gulliver‘s guitar for him.

Watch the final part of Peaky Blinders, rather inconclusive so expect there will be another series.
