Under the horse chestnut tree

The man told me not to pick the chestnuts fallen on the ground because they were not good for eating.

I said, I know I only want them for decorating .


He was surprised, but not in the least did he change his face. Not even when I made him pay attention to the fact that some chestnuts were falling all around him and even on his head because the wind was moving the leaves and branches of the big tree.

Funny, in Spanish we call horse chestnuts - castañas locas = crazy chestnuts, and also castañas de indias  - Indian chestnuts!
