It's National Black Dog Day

Set up because black dogs are the most difficult to re-home.

Raki came over a bit shy when I asked for her picture but as you can see she has the shiniest coat and what's more she doesn't shed or smell.
She's eager, lively and affectionate.
She's friendly with other dogs, and most cats.
She loves to travel, whether by car, bus or train.
On the debit side, she doesn't like men in uniform.
She's hard to spot in the dark.
She doesn't like to go out in the rain.

All in all she's a perfect dog and we love her. I'm so glad I said Yes! when the offer of a puppy from a rescued litter in Greece came up last November.
