Very Young Buck

This is one of this year's fawns. I got a couple of other shots of him and I'm pretty sure he has tiny buttons where his antlers will eventually be next year. This morning when we began our walk we encountered four deer at the bottom of our driveway, another three as we emerged from the woods into the hayfield, five or six more standing in the field at the beginning of Chapel Spring Lane, and then this guy and his mum and older sister (?) a little further down the road. They were everywhere!!
