Fallen Tree

Today I decided that it was time to stretch my legs at lunchtime and go for a walk in the grounds at work. I hadn't been round the garden for a while and came across this fallen tree. It made me think that a tree can be standing firm for years and years and then all of a sudden it's lying on the ground. The branches were lying all around it in small pieces, like broken bones, and the dead leaves were surrounding the trunk like a blanket.

One minute we can be standing tall, the next we can be broken on the ground, so it's important that we take notice of the moments.
