Two Colors Of Fall

Here in Central Texas, fall has its quirks.  Very rarely does it appear in a huge bonfire of color.  Instead it behaves more like a hybrid of shy Emily Dickinson and drippy Jackson Pollock  and we are left with a crazy quilt of small bits of color mixed in with the green hangers on and the shriveled brown already passed on.  One color of fall that is consistent during the month of October is pink to remind us of the importance of breast cancer detection, research and treatment.  I have done another overlay to achieve a double exposure effect for Abstract Thursday of a scarf crocheted for me by a friend when I was diagnosed and a heart-shaped leaf in pale orange from the hike and bike trail this morning,  Please click the link below to help provide mammograms for those who cannot afford them.https://thebreastcancersite.greatergood.com/clicktogive/bcs/home
