Gardening.....with bricks and concrete

Well we will be gardening in a more traditional sense at some point soon. We've been in our house now for 2 years and finally it's nearly a home. Apart from the garden. Nick has some grand plans for the small space and this is the progress so far. I just want to look out and see some plants. I'm told, however, I will see plants, clever lighting, a new garage, a patio......as I said I'd be happy with some plants.
