Unexpected Visitor.

When I was in the paddock this afternoon I was surprised and delighted to see a kaka.  Kaka are noisy, medium sized forest parrots endemic to New Zealand and this is the first time I have seen one here.  I am fortunate to live near two National Parks and this bird might have been one of the twelve recently released in Abel Tasman National Park.  It wasn't at all afraid of me and was obviously used to people.
