Learning zone

Am reminded of the episode of the Goons where a parliamentary debate was held about the cost of building a tunnel between the House of Lords and the Folies Bergères. It included a costly semi-circular sofa, for which the explanation was that "It was for the use of a semi-circular vice chancellor." I feel the designers of this sixth form learning zone sofa had something similar in mind.
