Fearful Fugu

Fugu is the poisonous pufferfish considered a delicacy throughout Japan. It is famous for being delicious and occasionally lethal, so chefs have to take a difficult exam (35% pass rate) in order to be licensed to prepare it. Apparently perfectly prepared fugu should have just enough poison to make your lips tingle. This was a tank at a restaurant in Kawasaki (£80 for a meal). They didn't look too cheery.
